Dr. Shrutidhara Sarma
Associate Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering
Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur
Dr. Shrutidhara Sarma is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India. She was a post-doctoral fellow in Kunsan National University, South Korea and an Erasmus Mundus Fellow at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece. Dr. Sarma earned her Ph.D from IIT Guwahati and was a Gold medalist during B. Tech from Tezpur University. At IIT Jodhpur, FERN lab is dedicated to the development of highly reliable and mechanically robust physical sensors with applications in wearable health monitoring devices, assistive, and aerospace technologies. She is a member of NASI, an INAE Young Associate, and recipient of the ISEES Young Scientist Award, Smt. Sheela Baya National Award, WISER Fellowship from the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre, SIRE fellowship, among other recognitions. The FERN lab has on-going collaborations with TU Braunschweig of Germany, Technion of Israel, NAL Bangalore, IIT Delhi etc.
